Dissemination and Sustainability

Dissemination

The first activity is realization of a dissemination strategy and action plan containing schedule of advertising campaigns. The innovative approach and knowledge management techniques are expressed by introducing sophisticated promotion media and distribution channels like social networking.

The target group is prospective and existing students, but also tackles all stakeholders including professors, administration, University Management and Ministry of Education.

Social networking distribution and collaboration tools will allow innovative access to prospective students, by providing pro-active and customized feedback. Web publishing is important to meet relevant project objectives. The main goal is awareness raising campaign offering essential and detailed information about project deliveries.

The conventional promotions also include fairs for prospective students, open days, visits to high schools, and presentations at conferences and workshops. These events will be used to disseminate promotion material (including printed information brochures; flyers and posters about the project activities and results). Advertising on other media, like billboards and radio is also included.

The EU partners will have the role to provide expertise, and the MK partners have the role to realize campaigns. Necessary activities will be realized by brainstorming sessions and workshops.

The awareness raising campaigns will include 1) promotion of web site and social network, 2) promotion of enrolment process, 3) promotion of eServices, 4) promotion of the new system, project results and deliveries.

Sustainability

There is high demand for this project due to the Integrated University approach realized with faculties that use different IT solutions for management of student files. Therefore the University Management looks for a solution that will really integrate studies and services, not just as collection of various entities. From other side there is strong national support by the Ministry of Education to exploit knowledge and have understanding with updated exchange of information about students and demands. Socio-economic factors also set this project to highest level since the eServices are now at the very beginning and its usage is strongly recommended to get closer to the Information Society. Therefore this makes all conditions for long term sustainability.

The first activity is development of sustainability plan, where all actions will be specified.

Project level factors for sustainability concern the following deliveries: 1) enabling sufficient infrastructures and resources, 2) enabling human resources to administer the system and 3) enabling legislation.

The delivery about infrastructure specifies realization of tendering process, equipment purchase, implementation and integration and the very important issues is solving legacy problems, i.e. to transfer old and existing data in the new system. To fulfill the second delivery about human resources we plan trainings to b delivered both to technical and administrative staff, in order to maintain the system and administer with the content. The final delivery concerns very important factors: legal and financial sustainability, which can be reached by changes to the existing legislation which allows of usage of only paper documents and also by allocating sufficient budget for maintenance and system upgrade.
